In the UK put up for sale one of the most rotten Ferrari in the world

A white 1978 308 GT4 mid-engined coupe is up for sale on eBay. The lot is being sold for £15,000, which is ridiculous by the standards of the traditional cost of Ferrari cars. However, the car is in very poor condition - it is possibly the rustiest Ferrari in the world.

The seller claims that the car's mileage is about 70,000 kilometers. But the photographs show that it is rotten to through holes, and corrosion damaged not only the outer panels, but also the power elements of the body. Hoses hang from the car, it has no hood, front optics, mirrors, moldings, fenders and engine. By the way, the motor is sold separately, because it is under repair and costs more than a car. Also, the pictures show that the original rims are well preserved.

The interior looks better: the seats are not worn, the door cards are in good condition. The seller claims that there are keys that fit all locks.

The announcement says that the car can be restored or placed in a glass showcase and admire it as an art object. The seller summarizes the lot with the message that the machine is "rusting slowly, but doing it incredibly gracefully."

The Ferrari 308 GT4 coupe was produced from 1973 to 1980. The model was equipped with a compact naturally aspirated 2.9-liter V8 installed behind the rear seats, its power was 255 hp. The salon is made according to the 2 + 2 seating formula (only children or people with short stature can comfortably accommodate in the back row).
