Produced since 2020, the Ferrari Roma (F169) supercar has got a new modification - a 4-seater convertible. Until now, the model was produced only in the coupe.
The open version is equipped with a folding soft top with a servo mechanism. You can unfold and fold it not only on a stationary car, but also in motion at speeds up to 60 km / h.
Compared to the coupe, the convertible Roma Spider is 84 kg heavier, because the removal of the roof had to strengthen the body structure.
Since the Ferrari Roma Spider is equipped with the same powertrain of a 612-horsepower 3.9-liter V8 engine (maximum torque 760 Nm) and an 8-speed automatic transmission with friction gear, the power-to-weight ratio of the car with an open top is somewhat reduced.
Acceleration 0-100 km / h Roma Spider performs in 3.4 seconds. But according to the declared maximum speed of 320 km / h, the Roma convertible is not inferior to the coupe due to the forced restriction by the manufacturer.
The main market for the Ferrari Roma Spider is the North American state of California. The cost of the car will be disclosed with the announcement of the start of sales.
