Italian bodybuilder Zagato has revealed technical details about its new brainchild, the spectacular Iso Rivolta GTZ supercar with a retro design. Recall that this car was presented in August of this year, but its technical characteristics are still kept secret.
So, Iso Rivolta GTZ is built on American units. The car is equipped with a 6.2-liter gasoline V8 GM LT4 from Chevrolet Corvette generation C7 (2014-2017). It is equipped with a supercharger, develops 660 hp. power and 881 Nm of torque. The company claims that the Iso Rivolta GTZ accelerates from standstill to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds, and its top speed reaches 315 km/h.
The body is made using frame-panel technology - the supporting structure is welded from steel pipes, and all external elements are molded from carbon fiber.
With its unusual squat silhouette and long nose, the Iso Rivolta GTZ nods to the historic Iso A3/C race car that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1964 and 1965. From here on the new Zagato and the use of American units - the A3 / C was also equipped with a Chevrolet engine.
