General Motors on December 9 showed a new generation of inexpensive Chevrolet Aveo model, the car carries the in-house code 310C.
They showed only a five-door hatchback, the sedan will not appear - they will continue to produce the four-door model of the previous generation.
As is often the case with state employees, the new Aveo was endowed with a faceless “transnational” exterior, albeit modern in its style decisions. Interesting features include “clean” plastic sidewalls and an ascending window sill line, which is visually connected to the glass of the tailgate with a narrow black plug. The block headlights have a narrowed pointed configuration, between them there is a chrome-plated U-shaped edging.
The interior of the new Aveo has not yet been declassified, but it is specified that the basic package of the hatchback includes six airbags, climate control, a 4.2-inch multifunction display in the instrument cluster.
Also, the range of engines has not yet been disclosed. They will probably offer a 1.0-liter petrol turbo engine.
Aveo of the previous (third) generation is produced only in the “four-door sedan” version. The 4.3-meter machine debuted in 2014 in Latin America, in 2017 its Chinese version was released under the name Sail. The Aveo / Sail sedan, depending on the market, is offered with 1.3 and 1.5 liter petrol engines. They are aggregated with a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 4-band automatic transmission.
