This engine debuted in 2018 in the previous-generation Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 C7, which was produced in an edition of 300 units. However, in September 2021, a message appeared on the Chevrolet Performance Parts website that the engine could not be ordered because the product had dropped out of the General Motors range. With this engine, the ZR1 could accelerate to 345 km/h.
