In 2023, the Equinox EV and Blazer EV mid-size electric crossovers will join the Chevrolet product line.
The upcoming premieres were announced at the CES 2022 Consumer Electronics Show. Both electric vehicles will be built on the flexible Ultium EV platform, on the basis of which GMC Hummer EV electric pickups are already produced.
According to preliminary data, Equinox EV and Blazer EV will have a cruising range of at least 400 km. Both crossovers should go on sale at the end of 2023.
The base cost of the Equinox EV is promised at $30,000, including subsidies. Approximately the same amount is being asked today in the USA for an Equinox with a 1.5 liter 170 hp petrol turbo engine.
Visitors to the exhibition were also shown a sketch of the interior and images of the Equinox EV digital model and its sports modification Equinox EV RS.
