Bentley sets new speed record on ice: 330 km/h

Four-time world rally champion Juha Kankkunen set a new ice world speed record of 205.48 mph (330.695 km/h) in a Bentley Continental Supersports convertible.

The race was held on the frozen Baltic Sea off the coast of Finland. For the record, a 16.5 km long track was cleared, the surface of which was 70 cm thick ice. The maximum speed was measured twice in the 1,000 m section - Juha drove in both directions along this segment.

A little about the car: 6-liter engine, 12 cylinders, E85 biofuel, Pirelli SottoZero II 275/40 R20 tires.
