Bentley

Bentley has officially unveiled a sporty modification of the flagship Mulsanne sedan, designated Speed.

From the basic version of the Mulsanne, which has been produced since 2010, the novelty differs in other suspension and steering settings, as well as a forced motor. In the exterior of the model, the color design of the radiator grille and optics has changed.

The output of the 6.75-liter V8 gasoline engine (Euro 6), equipped with two turbochargers and a half-cylinder deactivation function, increased from 512 to 537 hp. Engine torque increased from 1020 to 1100 Nm. The power unit is paired with an eight-speed "automatic". Acceleration to "hundreds" will take the Mulsanne Speed 4.9 seconds - 0.2 seconds faster than the base version. The maximum speed is 305 km/h.

The driver of the sedan can choose a sporty driving mode - in this case, the Mulsanne Speed engine will operate at a speed of at least 2000 rpm, and the air suspension of the car will become stiffer. In addition, the steering of the car will be more "collected".

The Mulsanne Speed will debut on October 2 at the Paris Motor Show. The model will go on sale in winter at a price of 315,000 euros
