In early January, Bentley Motors will present new versions of the Continental GT and GTC models with a V8 engine in Detroit.
The new 4.0 liter engine is equipped with twin turbocharging. The maximum power of the power plant is 507 hp. at 6000 rpm, the torque reaches 660 Nm in a wide range of 1700-5000 rpm. Transmission - 8-speed automatic with close gear ratios.
With the new engine, the Continental GT Coupé and GTC Convertible will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 5 seconds and reach a top speed of 290 km/h.
At the same time, the new power plant is incredibly economical (as part of the Bentley brand) - a full tank of fuel will last for 800 km. One feature that helps you use less gas is 4-cylinder shutdown at light load.
The new Continentals will be positioned below the flagship versions with a 6.0-liter W-12 engine with 640 hp.
