Tests went wrong: Acura NSX prototype burned down at Nurburgring

Acura

A couple of days ago we reported that Honda is testing a prototype of the new Acura NSX supercar on the famous Nurburgring's Nordschleife. Unfortunately, the tests ended not in the best way - the car burned to the ground.

According to the car photographers who are constantly on duty at the Nurburgring in anticipation of such stories, the NSX did not get into any accidents before the fire - the supercar just broke out of the blue. The crew of the car quickly left the cab, firefighters also quickly responded. As a result, the Northern Loop was closed for only an hour, after which the races continued.

Representatives of the Acura brand did not particularly comment on the situation, recognizing the fact of the "self-immolation" of the prototype and assuring the public that no one was hurt. Previously it was assumed that sales of the new NSX will start next year.
