Taiwanese company Luxgen has launched sales of the most compact model in its history - the U5 SUV crossover.
The new crossover was created on the basis of the Luxgen S3 sedan - they have a common platform and power structure of the body.
The Luxgen U5 SUV is comparable in size to the Nissan Qashqai: length - 4395 mm, width - 1763 mm, height - 1594 mm. The wheelbase is measured 2620 mm.
Under the hood of the novelty is a 1.6-liter gasoline engine with 120 hp, it is aggregated with a 5-speed “mechanics” or a stepless variator. Drive, alas, can only be front.
Inside the Luxgen U5 SUV, a vertical 12-inch touchscreen display takes center stage on the console. It has a built-in control of “music”, a navigator, a microclimate and other functions, although a set of hot keys (also touch-sensitive) is grouped under the bottom edge.
The equipment of Luxgen U5 includes 6 airbags, ABS, ESP, all-round cameras, a marking tracking system, etc. similar equipment.
In the mainland Chinese market, they ask for a crossover from 69,800 to 99,800 yuan.
Recall that Luxgen was founded in 2007. Behind it is the Taiwanese commercial and industrial corporation Yulon Group.
