A curious accident occurred last weekend in the American town of Sturgeon Bay (Wisconsin): a Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by a dog crashed into a store. This is reported by NBC12.
It was like this: a local resident (his name was not disclosed) parked an SUV at a gas station and went to the Sunflower bakery located nearby. After a while, he saw his car in the wall of the building on the other side of the street.
The owner of the Jeep told police that he briefly left it in the parking lot with five-year-old Australian Shepherd Callie in the passenger compartment and she probably somehow switched the automatic transmission mode selector to the driving position, after which the car began to move and crashed into the store. His owner Megan Lundahl remained positive due to the fact that no one was hurt. “I have a dog in the store named Carmen, she is often with me, and I told her if she wants to invite friends over, then they should use the front door,” she added, posting photos of her damaged business on Facebook.
The owner of the shepherd, in turn, joked that he had already taken away Callie's driver's license.
About who will compensate for the damage and what responsibility the Jeep driver will bear is not reported at the moment.
