Indonesia for the Japanese company Daihatsu Motor is the most important export market, so the automaker always tries to please the visitors of the annual auto show in Jakarta with concept cars. This time the company presented two developments - a 4-door coupe DN F-Sedan and a compact van DN Multisix. About both machines in order.
The DN F-Sedan is a prototype 4-door class B sports coupe. The length, width, height of the car are 4200, 1695 and 1430 mm, respectively. The wheelbase is measured 2510 mm.
Despite the formidable appearance, the car is equipped with a modest 1.2-liter gasoline engine with 88 hp. and a torque of 108 Nm, aggregated with a stepless variator. In a couple of years, in a simplified form, DN F-Sedan can go into mass production.
The concept car DN Multisix Daihatsu demonstrates what will be the serial compact van for the countries of Southeast Asia, which the company is currently working on. The exterior of the car is characterized by calm forms and smooth lines. Length, width, height DN Multisix are 4310, 1720 and 1695 mm respectively. The wheelbase is measured 2620 mm. The ground clearance of the model is 250 mm - a rare crossover can boast of this.
Nothing is reported about the technical stuffing of Daihatsu DN Multisix. Apparently, the sample presented at the exhibition is just a demonstration model, which does not have any units under the body.
