Daihatsu has unveiled the new concept crossovers FX and FT at the international motor show in Gaikindo, Indonesia.
The FT Concept is the forerunner of Daihatsu's flagship full-size SUV. While the car has the status of a project and there are no technical details about it. It is known that the car is designed for the comfortable transportation of seven passengers.
The interior of the crossover is trimmed with leather and aluminum inserts. The center console has a large touchscreen display and an engine start button. According to unconfirmed reports, the production version of the car can get a 1.5-liter engine.
There is a little more information about the second concept - the compact FX SUV with hinged doors. It is known that the length of the car body is 3800 mm, and the width and height are 1690 and 1580 mm. In terms of dimensions, the car is between the A- and B-segments.
The front of the car features LED headlights and chrome trim, while the interior features a futuristic design with multiple information displays.
One of the main features of the car is rear-wheel drive by default. Local media reports that the Daihatsu FX design can reproduce the device of the Toyota Rush/Daihatsu Terios model with an integrated frame. Under the hood of the car is a 1.2-liter engine.
