Daihatsu Motor is preparing an extensive display for Tokyo Auto Salon 2023 - the company will show six show cars and one sports car at the event. The exhibition will be held in Tokyo in mid-January.
One of the most notable Daihatsu exhibits at the exhibition promises to be the Wildranger, a Daihatsu Atrai microvan stylized as an expeditionary all-terrain vehicle. The car is equipped with a fully functional punt, which in the transport position is laid on top of the roof and is located there so organically that the uninitiated will invariably mistake it for a high roof.
Fans of extreme sports in nature are addressed to the eye-catching Daihatsu Tanto Fun Cross, designed as a secure mobile gadget.
Motorsportsmen will be interested in the Daihatsu Jumbo Extend technical support minivan with a spacious and functional sliding module.
Fans of classic Japanese tuning with a whimsical body kit to the ground, color music, acid colors and a powerful acoustic amplifier will like the red-black Daihatsu Tanto Custom.
Fans of the good old days will appreciate the retro styling of the Daihatsu Canbus Theory Bitter+ minibus.
The Daihatsu Copen kei roadster will also be shown in the “club” version of Clubsports – with a special body livery, low seating position and exclusive wheels.
Among other things, Daihatsu will also exhibit the original Daihatsu Copen GR Sport rally coupe, which took part in the national championship last season.
