Daihatsu announces updated Tanto

Daihatsu

Daihatsu Motor has distributed the first photos of the restyled version of the Tanto kei-van.

A deep update has been prepared for the Tanto Custom modification, which differs from the standard model in front design and styling details. Restyling will bring Custom a modified front end with angular headlights and a huge air intake in the bumper. At the same time, the basic model of the family will practically not change.

With the upgrade, the model range will also include a Fun Cross version with off-road styling. It features original bumpers in a "rough" design, headlights (with a "pixel" design of LEDs), moldings made of unpainted embossed plastic, a radiator grille and bumper inserts. In addition, this car has original rims and massive luggage rails on the roof. In the cabin - seat upholstery made of waterproof material and an additional USB connector for rear passengers.

All details about the updated Tanto will be revealed in early September.

Recall that the current generation Daihatsu Tanto has been produced since 2019. It is equipped with a 660 cc gasoline engine with 52 or 64 hp. It is combined with a CVT, with front or all-wheel drive.
